Area located near the main entrance of library .This is division in
Zanzibar Library Services Board “ZLSB”
where you can check out and check in books, assist patron queries, overdue, hold ratio,
as well as helping patron to locating books and other resources. ".
Circulation Desk Activities
The following are the major functions of Circulation division ::
- Collecting statistic “hold ratio” on library use.
- Borrowing “check-out” materials.
- Returning “check-in” materials
- Notifying and searching items
- Directing patron queries like finding materials
- Renewing hold & re-calls, book reserved..
- Notifying and searching items for patrons
- Issuing library clearance for students.
- Send messages of overdue by phone number.
- Provide information for new student. .
- Registration for new member in a system and manuals. .
- To find survey for school library to give good services for school users. .
- To conduct programs for early aged child for every Friday.
