Summer Reading Challenge Begins
Our annual Summer Reading Challenge for children ages 5-15 begins July 1st and runs through August 31st. This year's theme is "Ocean of Stories" with exciting prizes for participants who complete reading milestones.
How It Works

Collect prizes at each milestone
Age Groups & Goals

| 5-7 years | 20 books | Bookmark, certificate, book prize |
| 8-10 years | 15 chapter books | Book light, certificate, book prize |
| 11-15 years | 10 books (200+ pages) | Gift card, certificate, book prize |
Special Events
Throughout the summer we'll host special events to complement the reading challenge:
- Weekly storytimes with guest readers
- Author visits and book signings
- Creative writing workshops
- Book-themed craft activities
Registration
Registration begins June 15 at all Zanzibar Library branches. There is no cost to participate. All participants receive a reading log and starter pack upon registration.
